Fear can stop us dead in our tracks.
Early in my relationship with Jesus I was overcome with the consequences of my former choices. I was spiraling into a deep, dark pit of depression.
I don’t know how to convey what happened next other than to say, I heard God speak to me and tell me that just as he calmed the winds & waves (Mark 4:39) that He can take care of these things in my life as well.
What storm are you facing personally in your life today? What fear has arrested your heart, holding you captive?
Give it to the one who spoke to the storm and calmed it. Not only can He handle your fears, he wants to handle them. He wants to speak “peace be still” into every fearful situation you’re facing.
